Sign - tentoonstellingsruimte voor Hedendaagse Beeldende Kunst

“Sign is een multidisciplinair en experimenteel podium voor jonge actuele kunst, variërend van kunst 'an sich' tot maatschappelijk geëngageerd. Sign tast de esthetische en ethische grenzen af die in de kunst, kunstwereld en de maatschappij gangbaar lijken te zijn, immers in die marge is de vraagstelling het meest uitgesproken
Sign heeft een continu programma van tentoonstellingen en projecten in haar ruimte, op locatie en op straat. Zo komen aan bod films, installaties, work in progress, nieuwe en 'oude' media, community art, scenography , interactieve en environmental art, performances, audio-visueel, artist in residence projecten en samenwerkingen met kunstenaars, andere initiatieven en organisaties. Sign presenteert nationale en ook internationale jonge kunstenaars”.
“Sign is a multi disciplinary and experimental stage for young contemporary art varying from art as it is up to society engaged.
Sign wants to scan explicitly the boundaries of aesthetics and ethics that appear to be regarded as granted within art, the world of art and society. Around these boundaries questioning looks most outspoken.
Sign has a continuous program of exhibitions and projects in its space, on location and in public space. F.i. getting a chance are films, installations, work in progress, new and 'old' media, community art, scenography, interactive and environmental art, performance, audiovisual, artist in residence projects and cooperation with artist, other art initiatives and organizations”.
